15 September 2012: Winthrop University hosted the 2012 adidas/Winthrop Cross Country Invitational which attracted 31 women's teams and 27 men's squads, including four nationally ranked teams and a total of nine Big South Conference schools at the Winthrop Farm Course in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
